In Dave’s words...
I bought my 1969 Dodge Charger back in March 2008.  I was always a fan of the second generation Chargers.  Movies like “Bullet,” “Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry,” “Death Proof,” and of course the “Dukes of Hazard” fueled my obsession about the car.  Driving home from church one Sunday morning I spotted this 69 Charger in a nearby driveway.  Every weekend I would look for the car and there it would be.  Then one Sunday, I was driving home and my son said he thought he saw a ‘for sale’ sign on the Charger.  So I did a u-turn in the minivan and pulled up to the car.  After a couple of inspections, test drive, price negotiation, and approval from my wife Laurel,  I purchased the car.  Although it wasn’t perfect, it was mine. I had to replace both rear axle seals, the MSD electronic ignition system and the engine wire harness (with the great help of Tony Veloudas) Later, I added an after market oil pressure and water temp gauge.
